Camping at Our Chalet
The Our Chalet Campsite
is located only a few minutes walk away from the main buildings and stretching across two patches of land on Our Chalet grounds. The site overlooks the mountains and the Adelboden village meaning that the views are spectacular. It is a very pleasant and private area, suitable for smaller groups, families and perfect for outdoor training courses as well as being a good base for expeditions to the nearby mountains.

The campsite is open during the Summer months and camping is usually possible from mid May to mid October. The campsite can comfortably accommodate up to 6 Jamboree style patrol tents - each can sleep up to 7 people. Campsite provides tent pitches and access to shared bathroom facilities. |
Tents and Matteresses
Our Chalet can provide you with up to 6 Jamboree style patrol tents - each sleeps up to 7 people as well as self inflatable mattresses. You will need to provide your own sleeping bags, pillows and towels. You are welcome to bring your own tents and other equipment.
Tent hire: 15 CHF per night per tent (hire of matteress is included in the price)
Catering and Cooking
Guests staying on the campsite are required to self cater for all meals unless other arrangements are made. There are few options to choose from, regarding meals preparation and cooking.
- Using the Camp house kitchen or Squirrel house kitchen: both kitchens are fully supplied with cooking utencils - pots, pans, spoons as well as cups, plates, cutlery, oven, fridge, stove and cleaning products.
Kitchen hire: 25 CHF per day per group - Outdoor cooking on a cooking barrel - Our Chalet will provide you with the cooking barrel and wood at no extra cost. We can also provide you with the Patrol cooking box consisting of necessary cooking utensils, excluding plates, cups and cutlery.
Patrol box hire: 5 CHF per day per box
You can pre order basic food supplies to assist with your meal preparation. Please complete the Self Catering Food Order Form at least foru weeks prior to your arrival date. Before your arrival please check this page.
