Indoor Accommodation

Our Chalet offers a wide range of accommodation suitable for hosting International events and Seminars, welcoming groups, families and individual guests. We are confident that we can provide you with an accommodation to suit your needs and wishes.

From all the buildings you will have spectacular views of the high mountains, traditional chalets scattered over the pastures and the famous Adelboden village. 

Our Chalet World Centre consists of several buildings on site and a campsite.

Main Chalet

is the largest and the oldest building on site. It was built in 1932. It has up to 48 beds in various types of rooms, from single to a dormitory of 17 beds. It has communal bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided. It is build in a traditional Alpine Swiss chalet style. The house holds a long history and is a protected cultural heritage building by the canton of Bern.

Spycher Chalet

is the newest and second largest building on site. It was built in 1999. It sleeps up to 26 people. There are single and double rooms as well as four bed rooms (with bunk beds) and a dormitory of 8 beds - attic area. It has communal bathrooms. Bed linen and towels are provided. This building is a wheelchair accessible.  

Squirrel house

is one of the smaller houses on site. It can sleep up to 16 people in total (6 beds downstairs in bunk beds and 10 mattresses upstairs). Squirrel house has a kitchen and two toilets. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Camp house

is a small house located a few minutes away from main buildings and is mainly used as cooking area with its fully equipped kitchen to guest who are camping as well as shelter with mattresses available in the attic in case of extreme bad weather for campers. It has shared bathroom facilities.

Baby Chalet

is an exclusive private chalet that was built at the same time as the main Chalet in 1932 and it has a special place in Our Chalet’s history. Baby Chalet was built at the request of Helen Storrow, the founder of the centre, so that she could stay close to Our Chalet but in a private, quiet place with a breathtaking view, when ever she would visit. It is situated only a few minutes walk from the main buildings. It can comfortably sleep 3 guests, it has private bathrooms and a kitchenette. It is a perfect place if you are looking for a spot that will awaken your imagination of the Alpine paradise as well as great choice for all who wish a romantic retreat, peace for the soul or inspiration for a new novel perhaps.
