Ready Steady Go Week
Are you thinking of working at WAGGGS World Centre but you do not have enough time to fix it in your life? Are you looking for a new experience and challenge? Have you been in the Swiss Alps and want to come back? Have you never been to the Swiss Alps but you wish that you could?
Our Chalet, the oldest World Centre of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, has a programme for volunteers who are interested in discovering a World Centre from a different point of view. Everyone is welcome to apply, prior guests or volunteer, as well as those who have not been here, we are happy to have anyone with us who is keen to lend a hand.
Every year, Our Chalet welcomes a group of Guides and Scouts to the Ready, Steady, Go Week from 1 to 15 May.
Applications for Ready, Steady Go Week close 1 December (the previous year).
The Ready, Steady, Go Week provides the opportunity to work for a short time as a volunteer: helping to clean up the Centre after a season and get ready for the following one.
They will be sharing two weeks with Guides and Scouts from all over the world, from many different cultures, who have many different ways to see the world.
Being in the Swiss Alps is a great chance to explore the nature around and try new sports and activities.
