 Our Chalet Volunteer: Autumn_Aisling

Aisling

Autumn Volunteer

Aisling first joined Guiding when she went to visit her cousins some 13 years ago, only to discover that they were off on Brownie Holiday without their parents! The following week she signed up with her local Brownie group and hasn't looked back since! Aisling first visited Our Chalet 9 years ago on her very first international Guiding trip, and credits Guiding with giving her the confidence and the sense of adventure to travel whenever she can! She also spent the last 6 months interning at the WAGGGS Europe Office in Brussels. In her spare time Aisling likes to dance, read, hike, and make things. If she has the time, she might make a visit to Carlow, Ireland, where she is from.

Mackenzie

Autumn Volunteer

Mackenzie is from Dallas, Texas, United States of America and recently graduated from high school. She has been in Scouts since she was 5 years old, and has spent every summer at Scout camp for the last 13 years. Some of her fondest childhood memories include roasting marshmallows around campfires and singing crazy camp songs about bananas and beavers. Mackenzie loves to hike and can not wait to explore Switzerland! After her gap year, she plans to study Sociology at Yale University.

Meagan

Autumn Volunteer

Meagan is from Berkeley, California in the United States and will be 22 years old when she leaves Our Chalet. She has been a Girl Scout since she was 6 years old and now works with two Brownie troops. Between Scout meetings, she belly dances, studies Greek, and bakes way too many cookies. She studies geography at the University of Washington in Seattle where she's a member of the Campus Girl Scout troop.

 Our Chalet Volunteer: Autumn_Mette

Mette

Autumn Volunteer

Mette is from Denmark, and she just graduated from high school. She has been a Scout since she was six. She is totally in love with Switzerland and loves everything there, especially the Swiss chocolate and the cows. She looks forward to an amazing Autumn, with lots of hiking and other fun outdoor activities. To stay as a volunteer here at Our Chalet is a dream coming true. When she returns back to Denmark she will study to be a nurse.

 Our Chalet Volunteer: Autumn_Sally

Sally

Autumn Volunteer

Sally is from Melbourne, Australia. She started Guiding as a Brownie, and is currently a leader of two units back home. Sally enjoys jogging (although it is much more challenging here in the mountains!), skiing, lacrosse and playing cups. She studied Statistics and worked at RMIT University and now looks forward to travelling around Switzerland and experiencing the international side of Guiding.
