What do the friends of Our Chalet do?

The Friends of Our Chalet provide their home organizations and the public with general information about Our Chalet and promote everything about the World Center including:

• Sessions
• Helen Storrow Seminars
• Volunteer Programs

What happens to the money raised by the Friends of Our Chalet?

Donations from the Friends of Our Chalet help the center purchase much needed equipment and further develop the infrastructure of the center to better meet the needs of our guests. Recently, money donated by the Friends of Our Chalet went towards technological improvements in the Seminar room and updating the computer system at Our Chalet. 

Money raised by the Friends of Our Chalet also helps financially assist Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who would otherwise be unable to visit Our Chalet.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) acknowledges the continuous support of all our Friends in reaching their aim for the World Centers to be self-financing, thereby not diverting funds from other important worldwide projects.
