Tobogganing

In addition to the free runs around Our Chalet, there are over 15km of prepared toboggan/ sledge runs in the Adelboden. Toboggans can be rented from Our Chalet (CHF 1 per person)or from the gondola stations in the mountain areas. An easy place to reach from Our Chalet is Tschenten Alp where you can toboggan day/night.

Tschenten Alp Day Tobogganing
Tschenten Alp offers a 2.1km run down 297m from the Tschenten restaurant to the bottom of the Tscehnten Egg where you can catch a chair lift back to the top of the run. Tschenten restaurant is reachable from the gondola station in Adelboden town, a 45 minute walk from Our Chalet. Passes include the return gondola up to Tschenten Alp and unlimited rides on the return chair lift up the toboggan run.Open daily from 09.00 to 16.30.

Prices:
 - Half day pass (am or pm) CHF 22 for adults, CHF 16 for children.
 - Full day pass CHF 28 for adults, CHF 22 for children. 

Tschenten Alp Night Tobogganing
From 29th December 2007 to 22nd March 2008 every Saturday night (exc. 5th Jan), Tschenten Alp holds a party night. Floodlight night-time tobogganning is available and afterwards there is a Ski Hut party for all! The first cable car ascends at 18.15 and the final car descends at midnight. The mountain restaurant will be open so you can enjoy some tasty hot grilled specialities or cheese fondue!
