Seasons are changing

Change is in the air at Our Chalet. Our new Summer Volunteers have arrived and are starting to settle in. Training has begun for the summer season and the Spring Volunteers are coming to the end of their time at Our Chalet.

The Spring Staff day out took the form of a visit to the United Nations in Geneva followed by a picnic in the English garden. Staff were treated to a guided and informative tour and then given time to photograph the exterior of the building.

The Chalet underwent a deep clean during Ready Steady Go fortnight and is now ready for the busy summer season. Our tents are up as we welcome the first campers of the year and both Squirrel House and Camp House have been opened for the coming months.

Our Chalet is home to many Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from across the world and it is reassuring to know that although the staff may change, the buildings and ethos of Helen Storrow's dream remain high up in the mountains.
