Who is a volunteer staff member?
Someone who spends approximately 3 months helping the small number of permanent staff run OUR CHALET.

Who can be a member of the volunteer staff?
- Any active member of Guiding / Scouting who is aged 18+, and whose national organisation is member of WAGGGS.
- is physically fit and likes to be out-of-doors
- is practical, and not afraid of hard work
- enjoys meeting and mixing with lots of new people
- can speak English and one other language
What do you do as a volunteer staff member?
- Cleaning, washing up, preparing meals and other household jobs
- Being in charge of the evening programme
- Gardening and making repairs
- Helping in the office and the shop
- Especially, helping guests to mix, share and enjoy their visits
- In summer, taking guests on hikes and bus trips
- In winter, snow-shovelling
- Showing day visitors around the house
- Anything and everything!
