Trefoil Week

In April Our Chalet hosted a Trefoil Guild Week. The visit was part of a tour the Trefoil Guild is making to the Four World Centres. Last year they visited Our Cabana and this year Our Chalet was the place to be! 

The week consisted of ten days of programme and fun including visits to a Swiss small crafts chocolatier, Trummelbach falls, Thun old town, Ballenberg cultural museum, Bern, Meiringen and Grindelwald. During the week the group also hiked to the woodcarvers to see some traditional wood carving and to Engstligen Falls, the second highest waterfalls in Switzerland. The group of 70 also enjoyed many evening programmes such as a Swiss night and Campfire. Overall a great time was had by guests and staff and we would like to thank the many participants for their photos and thank you notes. 

In light of the fun experienced during the week Our Chalet has decided to make this a yearly event. Starting from this September we will be open for a 9 day session for members of the Trefoil Guild, Friends of Our Chalet and others. We look forward to seeing you and your friends and family there!
