Our Chalet/ KISC Ski Day

On 15th January Our Chalet and Kandersteg International Scout Centre enjoyed a joint "Staff Day Out" in Adelboden. The day started with a slalom ski competition on Giles Home Slope and then led into some free skiing for the afternoon. 

Following this everyone returned to Our Chalet for a tour of our buildings and facilities. We then enjoyed a Snow BBQ and finished the night with some night chatting and sledging on the slopes behind Our Chalet. 

Overall, everyone had a great time and it was good to get to know the staff from the Scout Centre in our neighbouring valley. It was also a good opportunity to find out how another Scout Centre works and to swap ideas. 

We look forward to working more with Kandersteg for programme, staffing and joint ski days in the future!
