Autumn’s rolling in let the good times begin!

1^st September is one of the four most important dates in Our Chalet calendar as it signifies the beginning of a new - Autumn volunteer season.

In true International spirit of Our Chalet we have proven that dreams of the founders of this historic place are still coming true meaning that winds from all parts of the world have brought in the most diverse group of young women in the volunteering ranks that has lived under Our Chalet roof in a long time.

These days, ladies are very busy with training in guest services and programme so you will have the opportunity to read about their experience shortly as they will be posting news items and their impressions about the Our Chalet experience on this website.

               

These days we are also running an International Event for Guides and Scouts from 18-30 of age called High Adventure Week – Lead your way! Volunteers are joining the guests on some of the hikes as well as thoroughly enjoying themselves. No rain no cold can get to these young fearless women either in testing the rock climbing wall, jumping off the bridge on a pendulum swing or attempting the famous overnight hike to Bonderspitz. Autumn volunteers have shown already the enthusiasm and joy to be here. We are hoping they will continue developing their leadership skills by challenging themselves, learning new skills and enjoying their time in this beautiful corner of the world.

You can support us by following what is happening at Our Chalet on a daily basis on our Facebook page. You are welcome to send volunteers a postcard every now and then and let them know what is happening in your world. That will make them very happy. If you are very curious how are things running here or you are missing Our Chalet very much just come and visit – we still have some places available in late September and early October.
