High Adventure Week

Early in September we welcomed a small but enthusiastic group of guests from New Zealand and the United Kingdom for the Adult Event ‘High Adventure Week’. The week covered day hikes to nearby mountain tops of Tschenten, Silleren and Engstligen Alps, and an overnight hike to Bonderspitz for an early sunrise and onto Kandersteg and the International Scout Centre. Guests completed the Adventure Park course by flying across the river with a zip wire, abseiling and navigating rope bridges and jumping off the bridge for the challenging pendulum swing. 

A great time was had by all, and next year’s event will be earlier in the Summer Season from 28 May – 5 June 2009, so keep an eye on the Our Chalet website shortly for more details.
