JOB VACANCIES![]() We currently have a vacancy for a Catering Manager (to start immediately) and are recruiting volunteers to work for a season. ![]() CATERING MANAGER Two year contract Residential Up to CHF34,000 Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation and kitchen hygiene at a WAGGGS World Centre in the Swiss Alps, yours will be a crucial role in managing this important area of operation and ensuring guest satisfaction. We place great emphasis on providing a high standard of guest service in all areas and are looking for a responsible catering manager who shares our aims and commitment to commence work in June 2005. Experienced in menu planning with excellent culinary skills, you will co-ordinate the preparation and serving of meals in a ‘family-style’ dining room, manage other kitchen staff, and order and purchase food. You will also manage the food budget and follow Swiss health and safety regulations in all kitchen-related areas. Working as part of the management team, you will work on your own initiative, display a methodical and calm approach to your work, have well-developed organisational skills and be flexible and reliable. Catering experience, ability to work in a team, a good knowledge of the German language, a clean driving licence and acceptance of Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting principles are essential.
